Privacy — Planexia

This policy explains what personal information Planexia collects through this site, why, how it is kept and protected, and what your rights are. It is written in accordance with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25, as well as the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who we are

This site is operated by Planexia inc., a company based in Quebec. For any question about this policy or your personal information, you may write to bonjour@planexia.app.

Person responsible for the protection of personal information

In accordance with Law 25, the person responsible for the protection of personal information at Planexia is:

Information we collect

We collect only the information you provide when signing up for the beta list, through the sign-up form and the short price survey that follows. This information is:

your email address (required);
your employment sector (provincial public, federal public, or private);
your intent (to take part in the beta program or simply to be kept informed);
the source by which you arrived on the site (organic, warm, or referred), derived from a parameter in the link address you followed (UTM or src);
the timestamp of your consent;
the price variant shown to you (as part of an A/B test), along with your optional answer to the price micro-survey.

We collect nothing else. In particular, we do not ask for your name, your postal address, or any payment or credit-card information.

Purposes

We use this information only to:

contact you about Planexia — notably to let you know when the beta program opens and when we launch. A confirmation email is sent to you at the time you sign up;
measure, in aggregate, demand and price sensitivity as part of this experiment.

We do not sell or rent your information. We do no targeted advertising.

Basis for processing and consent

The processing of your information is based on your consent, which you give by submitting the sign-up form. You may withdraw this consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out before the withdrawal (see “Your rights” and “Retention” below).

Retention

Your information is kept until the launch of Planexia, or until you withdraw your consent or unsubscribe, whichever comes first. It is then deleted. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, or by writing to the person responsible for the protection of personal information.

Disclosure to third parties and processors

We do not disclose your information to anyone for commercial purposes. To operate the site and the experiment, however, we rely on service providers (processors) that process certain data on our behalf:

Supabase — hosting of the database (cloud PostgreSQL) where the sign-up information is kept;
Resend — sending the sign-up confirmation email;
Google Analytics 4 — audience measurement using cookies, subject to your consent (see the Cookie policy);
Cloudflare Web Analytics — aggregate audience measurement, without cookies;
Google Search Console — measurement of the site’s search performance (no cookie is placed on the site).

Transfers outside Quebec

The providers above are companies based in the United States. As a result, some of your information may be processed or hosted outside Quebec, notably in the United States. We rely on reasonable contractual commitments from these providers to protect your information when it is processed outside Quebec.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information against loss, unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. Exchanges with the site are encrypted (HTTPS) and access to sign-up data is restricted. As no system is infallible, however, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Under Law 25 and the GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to your information:

right of access to your information;
right to rectification of inaccurate information;
right to withdraw your consent at any time;
right to erasure and de-indexing;
right to the portability of your information;
right to file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

To exercise any of these rights, write to the person responsible for the protection of personal information at bonjour@planexia.app. We will respond within the timeframes set by law.

This site uses cookies and similar technologies, subject to your consent where applicable. The details of the cookies used, their purpose, their duration, and how to accept or refuse them are set out in our Cookie policy.

Changes to the policy

We may update this policy as Planexia evolves. Any significant change will be reflected by the update date below. We invite you to consult it from time to time.
